Ik heb veel plezier gehad met het in elkaar zetten van dit bouw werk. Het is fantastisch om te zien hoe Lego met simpele blokken een aantal functies van de NES en Super Mario Bros heeft na kunnen bouwen. De bouwwerken zijn dan ook bij lange na niet hol, wat ik eerst wel dacht. Zo kan je de cartridge in de NES doen en ook locken net als bij een echt systeem. In Super Mario Bros. kan Mario niet terug uit gaan in een level en ook dit is na gebootst met Lego. Er zitten duidelijke handleidingen bij die je stap voor stap door het proces nemen om alles in elkaar te zetten. Daarnaast is de Lego ook verpakt in verschillende setjes, waardoor je niet direct alles in een keer hoeft op te bouwen. Je kan je tijd er voor nemen en doordat alles voor iedere stap in het bouwproces bij elkaar verpakt zit hoef je ook niet het zakje voor een andere stap open te maken om een onderdeel te vinden. Natuurlijk kan iedere meester lego bouwer ook eerst alle zakjes in een grote bak bij elkaar gooien en dan naar de juiste blokjes zoeken.Er is ook een handige tool bij geleverd waarmee je fouten ongedaan kan maken als je een blokje verkeerd plaatst. Maar is wel een overblijfsel als alles is opgebouwd.Het enige minpuntje dat ik kan zien is dat als alles opgezet is dat je nog duplicaten over hebt van de meest kleine onderdelen. Lego doet deze er meestal bij in het geval deze beschadigd of verloren raken tijdens het bouwen. En ik weet niet wat ik er mee moet doen. Weggooien is zonde. Al met al is dit een fantastisch bouwwerk dat nu ook in mijn woonkamer staat te pronken. Fantastisch staaltje techniek.

Awesome Set / Mechanism Issue. I had seen YouTube videos of the mechanism not working for so many. Many people even had their own mods. I was building the TV and my fiancé the NES. I told her that as soon as she finished building the mechanism we had to test it out. Well the mechanism was not working at all for 1hr we tried looking to see if she did something wrong in the build but everything was 100% correct as the instructions. Well that’s the thing. They should update the instruction manual on page 42 step 49 of the NES. If you notice carefully piece 6331441 at the bottom cross area one side is hollow and one side is flat. Someone recommended on YouTube to flip that piece, and that’s when I notice the two sides are different. Center of Mass played a big role here. The way page 42 has it the hollow part would be facing the front of the NES. That will cause the mechanism to not work at all (at least in our case we have 100% failure with this orientation. We rotate the gray Cross Block 6331441 so the flat surface is facing the front of the mechanism. That solved the problem for us and we now have 100% success rate so far. See picture. Other than that this set is awesome, I am half way done with the build, I’ll continue in 2 days from now. I never had Lego sets growing up and now at 28 my fiancé and I decided to start buying Lego sets this year and start building them together. I had only build two Legos sets before 2021, I was 25 when I got my first Lego set ever lol I grew up with the super Nintendo but it’s still the same nostalgic feeling. Thank you Lego for this set seriously!!!

Nostalgia Guaranteed. This set is incredible! My son (6) and I built it together and both of us had a great time. There’s lots of different build techniques involved. The scene did take a bit of time as we aligned everything neatly but it’s worth it!
The only downside is right at the end when you realise the stand doesn’t connect to the TV. It makes it realistic in terms of having a TV sat on a stand but I’d like to have it stuck together because I worry I’ll be the one to knock it off!
Building the Nintendo brought back a lot of memories for me and playing with Lego Mario on the TV set has made new ones for us both. The clicker behind the dial is genius! This set will 100% astound our friends and we’re so glad we have it.

Amazing Detailing. Great Price. A++++. This is definitely one of the coolest, most detailed sets I’ve ever bought. The interior of the console and TV have pieces of a variety of colors which add some pizazz to this set. The detailing include all of the cable slots, as well as, the switches and dials. I love that you could insert the game inside the Console. It would have been cooler if there were another cable connecting the TV to the Console. There are only three big stickers. All of the small pieces are printed. There is virtually no repetition. The crank works perfectly and the added Mario figure glides through with no issues. Overall this set is definitely recommended for any LEGO or Mario fan
