De lego doos was om een onbekende reden vast getaped. Dit is jammer want als verzamelaar wil je een onbeschadigde doos hebben. Slecht verzonden.

Gotta go fast. If you are a fan of the Sonic games, the Sonic movies, LEGOs, or like myself, all of them, this is your set! It perfectly resembles Green Hill Zone, and is instantly recognizable. The characters Sonic, Crabmeat, and Moto Bug are all very good and look great. Dr. Robotnik is also very good, I wish his head was designed better but other than that he looks great. Now, let’s talk about the set! All of the details are incredible: the landscape, the rings, the loop, the bridge, the lamppost, the palm tree, the sunflower, the TVs, the spring, Robotnik’s flight pod, it’s amazing! I played Green Hill Zone from Sonic 1 after I built the set, and it just proved how accurate it is! I love the instruction manual, and how the cover is the opening scene from Sonic 1, but I found it odd that neither Sonic 3 nor Sonic and Knuckles are on the timeline. They were the important games that shaped the character Knuckles, after all. Anyway, I hope LEGO doesn’t stop there. This could be a whole series. They could add more characters, like Tails, Knuckles, and Supersonic, and make more zones, such as Chemical Plant, Marble Garden, and Flying Battery. But overall, this is an eye-catching masterpiece and is worth every dollar. 10/10, would 100% recommend.

Excellent Display Set. I was reluctant at first to get this one… but at $70 and the piece count and considering the retro game fan I am… why not cave in? Gotta say it was worth it.
It’s a far simpler build than the more mechanical Lego builds I’ve done recently, but still just as enjoyable and in the end made for an excellent display piece on my shelf. Love the extras like the different faceplates for one of the enemies and on the monitors, and the brief history you get in the manual regarding the franchise. Overall, a fun build for any retro fan, even if it can be a bit repetitive at times.
On a final note, I’ve noticed connectors at each end of the set where hopefully we can expand this into a series of similar sets. Possibly something like Sonic 2’s Chemical Plant zone and Sonic 3’s Sky Sanctuary, with each set complete with new figurines, enemies, and vehicles to build. The potential is certainly there! More likely though, I’m guessing it’s to rearrange this set as you build it in 3-4 modules and connect them together. Still… a retro fan like myself can only dream!

Fun Set. I enjoyed this set, however it was not challenging; it was a pretty simple build. I love the way Sonic’s Lego character looks and Robotnik’s character was also pretty neat because it was immersive and you actually got to build up his character. Overall, I love the set. Rated it 4 stars because I wish it was a bit bigger and more challenging. I do recommend if you’re a Sonic fan!!!
