Doosje besteld. Helaas was kapot aangekomen en omdat het een cadeautje was kon het zo niet gegeven worden. Bol.com stuurde snel een nieuwe en oude kon retour.Inhoud van het doosje valt enorm tegen. Het is 1 van die dingen die je op de plaatjes ziet. En dat is echt erg weinig lego. Alle mario dingen zijn naar verhouding bizar duur voor wat je krijgt. Jammer.

Please scrap the blindbox idea. Ive collected the Lego Mario figures from the very start. Unlike the larger Mario play sets, these are more realistic for me to collect in terms of size and display purpose.
There seems to be this convenient excuse that using cardboard boxes is “ecologically friendly”. If this is the case, please do away with the random selection and let buyers choose which characters they want.
It’s really unfair to ask people to spent £5 on something that could well be the same character over and over (which has happened to me with this series and the last) Especially if the younger generations save up to buy these; its just not fair.
Sadly I can see myself stopping buying these now. As colourful and fun as they are, it feels more like greed and less like an eco-friendly approach to me.

Weigh the packs.
TL;DR: jump to the end of the review for the weights. I’m only rating this as four stars since it’s so difficult to collect an entire set when the contents of what is being purchased is unknown. I really dislike the LEGO grab bags (as I’m sure every LEGO collector does).
Like Series 5, each pack comes in a box instead of a bag. I think they come in boxes since the size of the characters are bigger than the first four series, but that also means no feeling the bags to figure out which items are inside. I’ve been weighing each pack with a scale since Series 1. (You can get a scale with one hundredths precision for less than $20.)
I went to my local LEGO store on release day and luckily it wasn’t too difficult to get all eight. The packs come packaged in a larger box of sixteen packs laid out as eight rows of two, and fortunately the staff just set out a few of the larger boxes of sixteen. After weighing, and just like Series 5, each row of two was the same character. I was able to get all eight by taking one pack from each row.
What’s different from Series 5 is that each pack comes with two bags of pieces in each box, and the instructions have been split into two paper inserts: one with instructions and one as an advertisement. I’ve weighed the sealed box, the empty bags, the paper inserts, and the empty box. I’ve listed each weight on a separate line along with a unique number that is printed on the instructions for each pack. Good luck!
