suck and overpriced. used this at school for computer science and it really does nothing and would rather buy luke skywalker’s land speeder.

One more port or inter-device messaging to perfect. The size of this smart hub is excellent. We have used it to do Lego Education Spike Essential projects and our own builds. However, the two ports is extremely limiting. Two motors? You have no ports for any sensors.
The advantage of the small size lends itself to builds where the hub is positioned on a rotating element.
This hub would be perfectly useful if Lego either added:
– a third port. Three is a great small alternative to the Spike Prime six ports. But this requires hardware changes
OR
– port the Mindstorms 6 port hub inter-hub messaging software to the Spike codebase. Then we could build devices out of multiple hubs. This probably needs to be done anyways with the retirement of Mindstorms.

Massively overpriced. To compare this to the previous power functions rechargeable box, the price is astronomically overinflated, you’re talking a 450-500% increase.
Yes this product replaces the IR reciever too but you still have the expense of a smart phone to control.
The app is also too difficult to work out, and theres no support, for when you want to control your own creations.
Bring back the plug n play power functions.
