Een echte aanrader voor de Marvel fan. Deze set is op ware grootte (zo ver dit is in te schatten aan de hand van de 2e film). Het hoofd is wel wat zwaar ten opzichte van het lijf, hierdoor is de danspose zoals op de doos redelijk instabiel. Het hoofd is ook redelijk fragiel, dus niet voor kinderen om mee te spelen.De details zijn erg leuk op deze set, zo wordt een zweep gebruikt als tak. Daarnaast is het een erg leuke afwisseling in de lego marvelreeks die normaal gesproken uit helmen en items bestaat. Aanrader voor de Marvel fan.

I love Groot. My feelings about this set are pretty good. The head is a bit heavy, but the legs are strong and can support a lot. I don’t really like how its feet are pointing backward. If the pointy part of the feet doesn’t look so bare, I would have put it in the front. A lot of people complaint about too many
stickers, but I don’t mind them and enjoy working with them. Overall, if you are a Guardians of the Galaxy fan, this is a good set for your collection.

Quality Control missing the mark as usual. It’s a great little set to have, I enjoyed building this cute little Groot. He sits on my desk at home and always brings a smile to my face. The unfortunate thing about Lego at the moment is the hastily cobbled sets that are being spat out way too quickly, and the result is sets like this and the Hogwarts Collectors train with the most basic of errors in spelling King’s Cross. The box for this shows the cassette tape being black on top both front and back, yet the instructions show otherwise (grey on top). It’s a basic mistake that even my 10yo daughter could pick up. Please Lego, stop overcharging, stop missing the basics, and please take more pride in delivering your sets undamaged.

Fastest tree alive… I am groot. I’ve always like the groot character. This build is really nice. Been looking at MOCs on bricklink then this happened, lol. Got one for me and one for my GF. It is pricey, for what you get and there’s so many stickers, omg! For the price, I’d have liked there to be no stickers. Not too much repetition l, but there are somewhat repetitive parts… The head is very heavy and there’s limited mobility in the head. Regardless, the head is very detailed and the build techniques are similar to the Saturn V, but on a much smaller scale… Also wish there’d be a bit more side to side movement in the hip joints for the legs. The arms are fine, movement-wise. The knees down are good with movement as well. Because of the high center of gravity, the model is unstable, although it can be “balanced” into many positions. The cassette is a great side build, but it has 8 stickers… EIGHT! It’s very detailed however… I recommend this if you’re fan of guardians of the galaxy.
