Eight bags. Eight episodes. Coincidence. This was a beautiful build and so much fun to do. I decided to do a bag with each episode and really space it out (which is very unlike me) but it became something of a ritual. Every week, the Child was forming himself in the show and in the Lego until he became the Grogu proudly atop my shelf.
The build was very similar to the other member of his species. You build a central column, then fill in all sides with the head on top. Obviously smaller than Yoda, and without the lightsaber, Grogu’s head is perched on a ball, so it can be rotated and his ears can move. There’s a little more play with it than with Yoda, who only has adjustable eyelids. I’m really impressed with Lego for this design.

The Child ok ok Grogu. Lets start saying this set is amazing. The details in the body work to the head and its ears. Did not have much problems with the build (apart from ears for some reason and the back the head) used the digital instructions as easier then the book

Grogu. I’ve been backwards and forwards with this build as I couldn’t decide whether or not to get The Child and build him. However, I really enjoyed the Yoda figure build and knew that the pack art didn’t do him justice so I decided that just for the sake of balancing my display shelf out I would get him.
BEST DECISION I HAVE MADE.
I really enjoy the construction aspect of these figures. The central Technic tower and then creating the exoskeleton flat and then attaching it to the frame. It seems like it would be really flimsy but honestly these are very sturdy when built and the techniques used are fun to learn and execute
Even better The Child looks so great when built. It does help that his ears are completely poseable so I have found myself changing their position on an almost daily basis to change his look. The eyes are much better on this than on Yoda too, nowehere near as spooky looking.
