Fantastische set. Ik heb ook de Mustang en Fiat 500 gebouwd, maar deze steekt er met kop en schouders bovenuit. Hele leuke bouwtechnieken, leuke mechanieken. En zoals andere reviews al zeggen, skip de roest stickers, ze zijn repetitief en doen afbreuk aan deze geweldige set.. Laatste minpuntje is het instructieboek, ik snap dat een volledig zwart boekje met zwarte pagina’s in de stijl is, maar het maakt het soms onnodig ingewikkeld en onduidelijk. Geweldige set! Stomme roest stickers.

Nostalgic. I had this set sitting in my garage for a few years. After I move, I decided to put this set together. This was a really huge set for me to build. I really had a blast building this Ghostbusters set. It took me about 4 days to finish. My 8 yr old son decided to put the Hotdog man on top of it. I notice there were some scuffs and scratches on the window pieces when it was all done. Lego needs to protect these clear window and large pieces in some form of protection because these items are so fragile. Overall I love this Ecto 1 and I would recommend it for a Ghostbusters fan. I have watch this movie numerous time and loved it.

. When it comes to iconic vehicles from video and film what do you think of surely the ecto 1 is up there with the greats. The ecto1 a 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Futura Duplex was a sort of ambulance come funeral car hence the duplex name. Like other car manufactures at the time Cadillac supplied bare bone chassis for coach builders to build vehicles around. This is how Miller-Meteor came to use this as a basis for their ambulance come hearse. For obvious reasons this car achieved critical claim but sad was left to rust in car park lot at universe studios. A Petition was put together which happily saw this iconic piece of film restored to it original condition.
Lego Carl Merriam Mike Psiaki and Ghost Corps have captured everything that makes the ecto iconic. From its sleek Cadillac lines rocket light tail fins ghost sniffer accurate machinery in the back the model is oozing in details. Its pays great homage to this iconic car that will please fans old and new.

Buildin’ makes me feel good. Ordered this at the first opportunity and was not disappointed. This set is fantastic! Really pleased with it. I’m the biggest fan of the Ghostbusters franchise and although I’m looking forward to the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife film I wanted the exterior of my Ecto-1 to represent as close as possible the classic car from the original 1984 blockbuster. A few alterations were needed to achieve this but with a little thought and one or two Lego pieces borrowed from other sets I did it! 🙂 Please Lego can we have the Back To The Future DeLorean next!?
