Bricks get broken. Got this on 25th of September,
built it the same day with my kid:
It was an amazing experience
however, I can see that pieces of this taxi starting to break.
I wouldn’t recommend buying this.

Looks like a taxi. When I saw this taxi I immediately had to have it. I made it and showed pics to my friends. One of them wanted it. I went to the Lego site to give them the link for the taxi and saw that this car had been given poor ratings because people were upset they couldn’t put mini figs in it????? When I first saw this car online I immediately saw that the windshield is made of clear roof elements and not a windshield element. I assumed that a mini fig wouldn’t fit in there. I mean if you want a taxi for your mini figs see the CITY taxi on the right in my picture. Love this taxi too, Holds two mini figs, but looks nothing like the CREATOR taxi on the left which I think has a nice refined look. Notice how good it looks parked in front of the Creator expert Parisian restaurant?
So the fact that this car doesn’t hold a mini fig doesn’t mean it deserves a poor rating. It wasn’t designed to hold a mini fig. This is a creator product not a CITY product. At the price, this is excellent value.

Disappointed. There are so many things wrong with this inexpensive little set: the windshield bricks don’t make sense, since they are not even see-through (how is the driver supposed to see where he’s going?); there is no steering wheel or seat; the roof can’t be removed in one piece to allow for easy insertion of a minifig; there is no minifig included; and the black pieces used for rearview mirrors don’t make sense. I wish I had looked more into this set before purchasing it. I thought at the very least it would come with a proper windshield piece and a steering wheel. I would be happy to pay $20+ for this set if it included some of the items above.
I was super excited when I saw that LEGO came out with a taxi, but now I wish that I had skipped this set. I own hundreds of LEGO cars and I can’t say I’ve ever been so disappointed by a car set (or any set). All the cars I have previously built came with a steering wheel and a proper windshield piece. I don’t understand how this set was even approved for release.
