Great for toddlers. I bought this set for my 16-month-old as a grow-with-me type of set. I built a few simple and sturdy tunnels for us to play with together. She loves dropping the balls into the tubes. I roll the balls back to her. Then we switch, I drop the balls into the tubes, and she practices throwing the balls back to me. The balls are lightweight and easy for her to grab. They bounce marvelously too. When she gets older, we’ll build the tunnels together and advance the play as her skill level increases. Note: the tubes can be a little finicky to assemble, but once they click together, they’re pretty sturdy (considering they’re intended to be easy to take apart and reconfigure).

Great design, snaps apart too easily. Tubes are easy to disconnect by accident while building.
I discovered they are compatible with Duplo train tracks, which makes for amazing possibilities!
Lego, please contact me for more details or video – this is just a proof of concept I threw together. I would love to make some better designs for you, but I don’t have time to go through the normal submission process.

Unique and highly enjoyable set. I got this set to play with my son who is on the autism spectrum. He’s 2.5 years old. At times it’s hard to get him to let us into his play. He’s mostly non-verbal at this point, but communicative with hands and other cues.
He loves this set. The cause and effect of dropping a ball in, seeing it come out the other side, it really reached him. He let me into his play and it became a treasured memory. I love the “card/ sheet” instructions that come with the builds, they’re perfect.
I highly recommend this to anyone with young children who enjoy animals, cause and effect, and eventually putting duplo people through the tubes as well.
